Alikadam parish organized a 2 day annual karbary meeting in the parish centre. All together more than 20 karbary participated the meeting. Another 10 representatives also joined the meeting. This year Alikdadam has been arranged in Three (3) pastoral blocks. This meeting was held with the participation of the Karbaries from only ‘Matamuhuri’ block. It was a very fruitful meeting. Present Karbaries got enough time to share their pastoral activities since the number of participant was short. First day of the meeting was decorated a inauguration ceremony, short reporting of the activities and a speech on Catholic faith.
On the Second day a mass was offered by the parish priest of Alikadam. After breakfast there was a sharing on Catholic Church and Her activities; Relationship between Church and the faithful, responsibilities of the karbari etc. All the karbaries were very satisfied and contributed enough to make the program a success.
