1st Diocesan Conference of Bangladesh Catholic Students’ Movement, Chittagong was held in The Holy Rosary Cathedral Church on 11 November 2016. Around 70 youths from Cathedral, Jamalkhan, Noakhali, Bandarban and Diang parish had participated in this conference. The conference began with a short prayer in the morning. In the morning session several presentations on BCSM (introduction, spirituality and method) was presented by various resource persons. In the afternoon a mass was offered by Fr. Regan D’Costa (asst. priest of Cathedral parish).
After lunch participants were divided according to their parishes for group discussion. The participants discussed on the possibilities and challenges of practicing BCSM methodology in their localities. After the group discussion there was an open discussion were representatives from every parishes shared how to utilize BCSM methodology in their parishes more effectively. In the evening The Annual General Meeting of BCSM Cathedral unit took place with the presence of Advisor Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa & Mrs. Sonia D’Costa; Chaplain Bro. Rinku L. Costa, csc; Special Guests Bro. Sylvester Mridha, csc & Mr. Ambrose Gomes. A new coordinating comity for BCSM Chittagong was selected in the AGM. In the end, there was a short and meaningful 
ceremony to celebrate the 25 anniversary of BCSM in Bangladesh. In this ceremony the advisors and former coordinators were awarded an honorary certificate as a token of appreciation and gratitude for their contribution. A cake was cut by the members and the guests. A short cultural program wrapped up the program.
