Chattogram Archdiocesan Pastoral Service Team organized an intensive training program on 8-14 October 2022 for the catechists and prayer leaders who have been serving in Chattogram Hill Tracts. The program took place in FIAT Pastoral Centre, Bandarban Hill District and was participated by 25 persons.
The subjects covered in the program and the resource persons were: a review of the profession of faith: Mr Manik Willver D’Costa, Diocesan Pastoral Coordinator; Sunday liturgy in the absence of a priest: Mr. D’Costa; Sunday homily: Archbishop Lawrence Subrato Howlader CSC; preparing candidates for the Holy Sacraments: Fr Pronoy Anthony Gomes CSC, Diocesan Asst. Pastoral Coordinator; life in Christ: Mr Mickey Paul
Gonsalves, Diocesan Development Coordinator; consumer rights: Mr Khunthairoy Francis Tripura, Secretary, Pastoral Team Chattogram Hill Tracts Office, and religious hymns: Sr Nita Rozario CSC, a liturgical hymn expert.
Afternoon sessions were designed to assess the learnings of the participants. Participants had to take part in an assessment exam at the end of the program.
