A learning session was organized by the Chittagong Archdiocesan Laity Commission on 30 June 2017 in Cathedral Parish Hall Room. Around 40 Parish Council Members from Diang, Cathedral, Noakhali and Jamalkhan participated in the session. Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa- Pastoral Coordinator of the Archdiocese was presented papers on the main theme. He said in his discussion that the most important responsibility of making the earth a heavenly place is on the Laity. In order to lead a Christian life, first we must know the teachings of the Church. After the presentation there was a open discussion. One of the participant said that, in some occasions many laity seem to be in a opposite position with the church because of false teachings and misunderstandings. This kind of learning sessions can help them to build a good understanding in future.
