An online bible course has been organized for the youth from 16-21 July 2021. 27 young  participated in this first ever endeavor by the Archdiocese of Chattogram. During the course the participants took part in a learning session of one hour everyday followed by an online bible quiz. Everyday 3 of the winners ranked 1st to 3rd were awarded cash prizes based on their quiz numbers.

Mr. Manik Willver D’costa, pastoral coordinator of the Archdiocese of Chattogram was the main resource person of the course who discussed mainly on the four gospel writers of the Holy Bible. His presentation included the origin of the gospel, background and context of each of the 4 gospels and their writers, the relation of the gospel writers to Jesus and his disciples.  Each of the learning sessions were attentively attended by the participants.

On 18th July an online mass was offered by the Archbishop of Chattogram Most Rev. Lawrence Subrato Howlader, CSC over the ‘Zoom’ platform. He expressed his joy to see the participants connecting with Jesus Christ even in the crisis time of this pandemic situation.

Participants also submitted assignment on a given topic at the end of the course based on which top three participants were cash prizes. The course was jointly organized by the Chattogram Archdiocesan commissions assisted by the Christian Students’ Organization (CSO) of Cathedral Parish and Bangladesh Catholic Students’ Movement, Chattogram Unit.
