In Chittagong Archdiocese, the pastoral theme for the year 2019 is: “We are the fruits of mission, mission is our vocation.” The Archdiocesan pastoral assembly held on 20-22 February 2019 reflecting on this theme where selected persons participated from all the parishes. But the pastoral theme need to be implemented in the local level. Every parish need to organize their own pastoral assemblies in order to take concrete action plans in the local level. This year all the parishes have succeeded organizing their pastoral assemblies. More or less the parish pastoral assemblies were commonly structured following the See-Judge-Act methodology. The pastoral theme were presented by a keynote speaker in every assembly and then some action plans had been taken by the parishioners. The action plans were prescribed by the Archdiocese in order to maintain uniformity and to achieve overall diocesan pastoral planning.
Thanchi Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 13-14 March 2019. Archdiocesan pastoral coordinator Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa and PST Chittagong Hill Tracts Secretary Mr. Khunthairoy Francis Tripura were present as keynote speaker. Total of 93 people participated in the assembly.
Bolipara Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 15-17 March 2019. Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa and Mr. Khunthairoy Francis Tripura were present as keynote speaker. Total of 96 people participated in the assembly.
Khagrachori Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 22 March 2019. Mr. Khunthairoy Francis Tripura was present as keynote speaker. Total of 62 people participated in the assembly.
Noakhali Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 22 March 2019. Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa and archdiocesan development executive Mr. Mickey Paul Gonsalves were present as keynote speaker. Total of 135 people participated in the assembly.
Lama Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 28-29 March 2019. Mr. Khunthairoy Francis Tripura was present as keynote speaker.
Cathedral Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 29 March 2019. Archbishop Moses Costa, csc and Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa were present as keynote speaker. Total of 80 people participated in the assembly.
Alikadam Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 30 March – April 2019. Mr. Khunthairoy Francis Tripura was present as keynote speaker.
Diang Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 5 April 2019. Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa was present as keynote speaker. Total of 77 people participated in the assembly.
Bandarban Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 30-31 March 2019. Archbishop of Chittagong Most Rev. Moses M. Costa, csc was present as the keynote speaker. Total of 129 people participated in the assembly
Rangamati Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 05 April 2019. Mr. Khunthairoy Francis Tripura was present as keynote speaker.
Jamalkhan Parish organized their pastoral assembly on 10 May 2019. Mr. Manik Willver D’Costa was present as keynote speaker. Total of 45 people participated in the assembly.
