The Presbyterium meeting of Chittagong Archdiocese is held in the Archbishop’s House on 4-6 April 2017. It was the 1st meeting of the year. 24 priests participated in the meeting with their Archbishop who have been serving under the Archdiocese through 11 parishes and 1 sub parish. Archbishop of Chittagong His Grace Moses M. Costa, CSC presided over the meeting.
Main topics of discussion were: ‘The Catholic Family in Asia: Domestic Church of the Poor on a Mission of Mercy’ which is the document from Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences XI Plenary Assembly and ‘Pastoral Pedagogy’ being used by the Chittagong Archdiocese. Priests also participated in a Lenten recollection presided over by the Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Dhaka Most Rev. Theotonius Gomes, CSC. The meeting ended by the Chrism Mass in the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary at 5.00 pm on Thursday, 6th April 2017.
