Fr. Leonard Rebeiro
Holy Childhood Day was observed at Sahebgonj under Lakshmipur Quasi parish on 2 February. The program was headed by the PMS theme of this year: ” For it is to such these little ones that the Kingdom of God belongs” (Luke 18: 16).
The program began with a rally of the participants who journeyed the neighboring roads & the historical ‘dighi’ followed by the Mass of ‘Feast of the Presentation of Jesus’ in the Temple. All entered the church with lighted candles, marking the significance of the feast proper.
The day-long program included a presentation on the theme by Fr. Leonard Rebeiro; sharing of guardians, a youth and a child; sports on different events; Bible quiz & prize giving ceremony.
These two historical villages being less populated practically all the faithful participated in this program. 90 persons participated in this program.
All appreciated this unique program & their joy was full to the brim.
It was a great day and a great program indeed!
