Eight parishioners received their First Holy Communion, while 25 parishioners received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Pahartali, a Quazi Parish of the Archdiocese of Chattogram.

The Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation were administered during a special Holy Mass celebrated on 4 September 2026. The Holy Mass was presided over and the sacraments were administered by Archbishop Lawrence Subrata Howlader, CSC, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Chattogram.

The Parish Priest, Fr. Joachim Kullu, SVD, was also present at the celebration. He played an important role in the spiritual preparation and guidance of the candidates who received the sacraments.

Through the celebration of the Holy Mass, the candidates were given the opportunity to deepen their commitment to the Christian faith and to grow in their relationship with Christ. The celebration created a joyful and festive atmosphere among the faithful of the parish.

Following the Holy Mass, a cake-cutting ceremony was held with the newly confirmed and first communicants to share in the joy of the occasion. The parishioners also offered prayers and extended their best wishes to the candidates as they continue their journey of faith and Christian life.

The celebration was a joyful and significant spiritual occasion for Pahartali Quazi Parish, inspiring the younger generation of faithful to remain steadfast in their faith and to continue growing in their commitment to Christ and the Church.
