The 50th Annual Marian Pilgrimage took place in Diang on 13–14 February 2025, under the theme ‘A joyous journey with Mother Mary, by the grace of the shepherd.’ This year’s pilgrimage was especially significant as it marked the jubilee year of the Marian Pilgrimage.

13th February of Diang Pilgrimage
Devotional Eucharistic Adoration and reconciliation ceremony

As in previous years, the spiritual preparation for the pilgrimage began with a nine-day novena prayer, with the final day of prayer held on 13th February. This was followed by a Holy Mass, celebrated by the Archbishop of Chattogram, Most Rev. Lawrence Subrato Howlader, CSC. The Bishop of Barishal Diocese, Most Rev. Emmanuel Kanon Rozario, co-celebrated the Mass. Pilgrims from across the country attended the novena prayer and the Eucharist. In the evening, following a devotional Eucharistic Adoration and reconciliation ceremony, all pilgrims participated in the traditional candlelit procession and Rosary prayer. The procession began at the ashram, winding through surrounding villages while praying the Holy Rosary before returning to the starting point.

The solemn Eucharistic celebration took place the following day, 14th February 2025, at 9:30 AM, with thousands of pilgrims filling the vast field of the ashram. Most Rev. Bishop Emmanuel K. Rozario was the principal celebrant of the solemn Eucharist, with His Grace Archbishop Subrato co-celebrating.
