Inter school education and cultural competition is held in Thanchi from 31st March to 2nd April 2016 in Thanchi parish centre. 386 students from 11 primary, 3 junior and 1 high school participated in the event.
Upazilla Chairman of Thanchi inaugurated the
event on 31st March. Vice chairman of the upazilla, chairman of the union, headmasters of the participating schools and some karbaris (community leaders) were also present. 35 events took place in 7 groups.
The event was jointly organized by Thanchi parish and FYTP Program. The prize giving ceremony took place on 2nd April at 5.00 pm.
