Chittagong Archdiocese have 29 priests in total serving in the 11 parishes and a sub-parish throughout the Archdiocese. All of these priests were present (Except Fr. Regan D’Costa who is currently studying in Rome) in the Chrism mass held on 11 April 2019 in the Jamalkhan Parish of the Archdiocese. The Chrism Mass generally takes place in the morning of Holy Thursday but the Archdiocese of Chittagong being very vast and remote have to celebrate this mass a week before so that all the priests can be present. Chrism mass generally takes place in the Cathedral but this year Archbishop of Chittagong Most Rev. Moses M. Costa, csc selected Jamalkhan for this Holy Mass. Many parishioners were present from both Jamalkhan and Cathedral Parish to celebrate this special day. Priests were greeted at the end of the mass by the parishioners.
