On 5 April 2025, the Pastoral Assembly of St. Joseph Quasi Parish, Lakshmipur, was held with reverence and active participation from parishioners and pastoral leaders. The gathering commenced with an opening prayer led by Fr. Leonard C. Rebeiro, Pastor of the parish, followed by a warm introduction of all attendees.
The assembly was shaped by the pastoral theme for the year, “The Lord is my Shepherd” (Psalm 23:1), which served as the spiritual and strategic compass throughout the day’s proceedings.
A key highlight of the assembly was the presentation of the Archbishop’s Pastoral Letter, delivered by Mr. Manik Willver D Costa, Director of Programs and Operations of the Chattogram Catholic Archdiocese. This was followed by an engaging session that explored the theme in greater depth—inviting personal reflections, theological insights, and group discussions centered on the concept of Christian fellowship.
Participants then took part in focused group workshops, where they collaboratively reflected on the theme and developed practical insights. The findings from each group were subsequently presented, reviewed, and constructively evaluated.
The day concluded with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, bringing a spirit-filled close to an assembly that was both reflective and forward-looking in its pastoral vision.
