Chattogram, 14 November 2025 — St. Teresa the Little Flower Church, a newly constructed parish church, was officially inaugurated today in the Bahir Signal area of Chandgaon, Chattogram. The inauguration ceremony was led by Archbishop Lawrence Subrato Howlader, CSC.
The program opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque, symbolizing the formal beginning of the church’s mission. Afterward, the faithful from various parts of Chattogram gathered inside the new church for a Holy Mass, which was offered by Archbishop Subrato.
Following the liturgical celebrations, a colorful cultural program was held. Songs, dances, and religious presentations added warmth and festivity to the occasion.
Leaders and members of the local Christian community expressed optimism that St. Teresa the Little Flower Church will play a vital role in enriching the religious, social, and cultural life of the surrounding area.
