March 7, 2025 – The Annual Pastoral Assembly 2025 was successfully held at The Immaculate Virgin Mary under the theme “The Lord is my Shepherd” (Psalm 23:1). The event, which took place on Friday, brought together spiritual leaders, laity for a day of reflection, discussion, and renewal of faith.

The assembly commenced with registration and a welcome session. This was followed by the opening session, moderated by Mr. David Gonsalves, where a Bible installation ceremony and an inaugural prayer were conducted. The opening address focused on pastoral guidance and spiritual leadership.

The second session featured a discussion on pastoral activities in 2024, including a report on past initiatives and achievements. Then Mr. Manik Willver D Costa presented Bishops Pastoral letter and describe in based on the theme.

An afternoon session was dedicated to group workshops, focusing on pastoral work strategies and the presentation of team reports. The event concluded with a summary and closing remarks, followed by spiritual reflection. Throughout the day, several key discussions took place, including:

  • Theological reflections on pastoral values and support
  • Personal insights on faith and spirituality
  • Panel discussions on leadership and service in faith communities

Participants expressed their appreciation for the conference, noting its importance in strengthening community bonds and fostering spiritual growth. The event successfully laid out a roadmap for the coming year’s pastoral mission and commitments.
