On August 26, 2024, a youth seminar was organized at St. Joseph Quazi parish, Pahartali. The seminar was arranged by the Chittagong Archdiocesan Youth Commission and the Karnaphuli Area Program of World Vision Bangladesh. A total of 84 participants attended. A total of 84 participants from the Cathedral Parish, Diang Parish, and Pahartali Quazi Parish took part in the seminar.
The seminar began with prayers, an opening ceremony, and an introduction session. Mr. Mickey Paul Gonsalves, the Youth Coordinator of the Chattogram Archdiocese, shared about the topic of “Christ as the Ideal for Developing Youth Leadership.” The second session focused on the role of youth in child protection, presented by Mr. William Gomez from the Karnaphuli Area Program, World Vision Bangladesh. Mr. Flavian D’ Costa, Secretary of the Chattogram Archdiocesan Youth Commission, led a session introducing the Youth Commission and various youth movements.
Through this seminar, the youth gained insights into youth leadership development, the role of youth in child protection, and information about the Youth Commission and different youth movements. The seminar concluded with a brief cultural program and a vote of thanks
