Saint Joseph the worker is the patron saint of Lakshmipur Sub-Parish. Lakshmipur is now a sub-parish of Noakhali where Fr. Robert Gonsalves is appointed as the priest in-charge. A open discussion meeting was held on 1 may 2017 in Lakshmipur with the participation of 35 parishioners. Vicar General of Chittagong Archdiocese were present in the discussion as chief guest. The participation of the laity in the parish was the main discussion point in the program.
