Rev. Fr. Leonard C. Rebeiro is appointed Vicar General for the Archdiocese of Chattogram today. His Grace, Most Rev. Moses M. Costa, CSC has announced the appointment at 5.00 pm from the Archbishop’s House, Chattogram. The appointment will be in effect from tomorrow, Sunday, 24 May 2020.
Fr. Leonard C. Rebeiro is born on 4 February 1968 at Rangamatia, Gazipur. His parents are Late Raphael Rebeiro and Late Joshphine Corraya. He was ordained priests by then Bishop of Chittagong Most Rev. Patrick D’Rozario, CSC on 3 January 2003. Fr. Rebeiro acquired an STL degree on Dogmatic Theology from the University of Santo Tomas, Manila, the Philippines in 2007. He has served as Assistant Parish Priest at Gournadi and Cathedral and later as Parish Priest at Noakhali, Cathedral and Diang. He has been serving as the Associate Vicar Judicialis since 2009 and in-charge of the Judicial Division under the Archdiocesan Curia since 2017. We congratulate and wish every success of Fr.
