A half-day seminar on liturgy took place at Sahebgonj on 26.10.2024. The theme of the seminar was the significance and importance of liturgy and Eucharist towards the journey of Christian faith. Newly ordained priest Fr. Anthony Russell Rebeiro was the keynote speaker. The Holy Bible presentation kicked off the program, followed by a brief prayer. Fr. Leonard welcomed all. Fr. Russell shared on 1. What is liturgy? Liturgy in the RCC & its impact in our lives & 2. Eucharist, the Source & Summit of all prayers/liturgies. His sharing was very meaningful and resourceful. Then Fr. Leonard, in a nutshell, shared about the need for a liturgy subcommittee in the parish. He also very briefly focused on forming LOM (Legion of Mary) in two villages. Mr. Jason, being the only male member of the Legion of Mary, was present and shared his experience.
The seminar ended with the Holy Mass, followed by a meal for all. 62 people participated in this seminar.
