A half-day workshop on “Parish formation & participation of the faithful in the church” took place on June 14 in Lakshmipur Quasi parish. The workshop began at 9:00 am with a short prayer & presentation of the Bible. 2 subject matters on parish & parish pastoral council, participation of the laity in the church, and the present status of Lakshmipur & Sahebgonj were systematically presented by Fr. Leonard C. Rebeiro, followed by an open discussion. Then 5 participants shared their views on the need to have Lakshmipur as a new parish soon. The workshop ended with the Holy Mass, followed by lunch at 2:00 pm. 50 people participated in this workshop. The participants expressed their satisfaction with this well-arranged & resourceful program.
