The Annual General Meeting 2026 of the commissions of the Chattogram Catholic Archdiocese was held at the Conference Hall of the Chattogram Archbishop’s House. The meeting focused on reviewing the commissions’ activities over the past year, formulating the action plan for the coming year, and discussing various important matters aimed at strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of the commissions’ ministries.
The program began in the morning with registration, followed by an opening prayer led by Sr. Mamata Palma, LHC. Participants were then welcomed, and the inaugural address was delivered by Fr. Regan D’ Costa.
During the meeting, the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting were presented, reviewed, amended, and approved. The outgoing Commission Coordinator was thanked for his dedicated service, and the newly appointed Commission Coordinators were warmly welcomed. The minutes were presented by Mr. Julian D Costa.
Later, Mr. Flavian D’ Costa presented and evaluated the commissions’ activity reports covering the period from July 2025 to June 2026. The presentation highlighted the achievements, challenges, and future prospects of the various commissions.
In the second session, Mr. Micky Paul Gonsalves provided guidelines for preparing the 2026–2027 pastoral action plan and facilitated the planning session for the upcoming year. Participants exchanged ideas on strengthening collaboration among the commissions, identifying key priorities, and making the Archdiocese’s pastoral ministries more effective and fruitful.
The Annual General Meeting concluded with a discussion on miscellaneous matters, bringing the official proceedings of the meeting to a close.
