Tongojhiri Maria Para, under St. Peter Lama Parish, joyfully celebrated the Annual Marian Feast on 31 October 2025 with great devotion and community spirit. The celebration was preceded by three days of spiritual preparation, which included Holy Mass, Sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Adoration, the Rosary, and a candle-lit procession in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM).

On the feast day morning, the faithful participated in the Rosary, Confession, and spiritual sermons that enriched the day’s solemnity. The main celebrant of the Holy Mass was Very Rev. Fr. Johnny Finney, OMI, while Fr. Ripon Rozario, OMI, Parish Priest of Alikadam, delivered an inspiring homily.

More than 350 Catholic faithful gathered to celebrate the occasion and shared a festive meal together, marking the event with unity and joy. The community expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Oblate priests, parish catechists, teachers, youth, and all the faithful for their generous cooperation.

A special word of thanks was extended to the people of Tongojhiri Maria Para for their wholehearted support and hospitality. The parish community requests the prayers of all for the continued growth of faith and unity among the faithful.

Report by Fr. Rocky Costa, OMI, Parish Priest of Lama.
