With the theme “The Bible is the Word of God; the Bible is my daily companion,” a special Bible-based event was organized at the Saint John the Apostle Parish in Khagrachori. The day-long program was marked by various devotional and educational activities, seeing active participation from the local Christian community.
The event commenced with the presentation of the Holy Bible followed by prayers. Father Leonard Rebeiro, the parish priest, along with Brother Subuj Bala, graced the occasion and delivered welcome speeches to the attendees.
A major highlight of the day was the presentation titled “Children in the Bible,” conducted by Father Leonard Rebeiro. To further promote religious education, the organizers hosted a Bible-themed drawing competition and a Bible quiz. These segments were facilitated by Bridget Dias, Tania Rebeiro, and Father Leonard Rebeiro.
The program concluded with the celebration of the Holy Mass (Feast of St. Anthony), followed by the prize-giving ceremony for the competition winners and a vote of thanks. Through this wonderful initiative, participants had the opportunity to deepen their connection with the teachings of the Bible.
