A two-day training program for catechists and teachers was held at Shanti Rani Catholic Church, Alikadam, on 17–18 May 2026. The training brought together 36 participants from different mission stations and educational institutions of the area.
The program focused on three important themes: Synodal Church, The Roles of Catechists and Teachers in the Hill Tracts, and The Importance of Education. Through presentations, discussions, and group sharing, participants reflected on their vital role in faith formation, community building, and promoting quality education in the region.
The training encouraged participants to deepen their commitment to serving the Church and society, especially in the unique context of the Chattogram Hill Tracts. It also provided an opportunity for mutual learning and fellowship among catechists and teachers.
The program concluded with a renewed commitment from the participants to work together in strengthening faith, education, and synodal collaboration within their communities.
