Saint Teresa’s Catholic Community is one of the 15 Small Chritian Communities at Our Lady
of the Holy Rosary Cathedral Parish, Chattogram. There are 178 Catholics in 59 families at the neighbourhood.
Due to the Covid-19 pandamic a country wide lockdown is imposed from 26 March 2020 which made many people jobless. The St. Teresa’s Community observed a few families at the neighbourhood were having really hard days during the lockdown. Community people organized some
funds by the assistance of the affluent members in the neighbourhood and distributed emergency gifts among these 14 families.
A very inspiring witness of building Christ centered community! Hope some other communities will also come up with the humanitarian response.
