On September 23, 2025, a day-long training program was successfully held at the Dei Bervum Training Centre. The main objective of the program was to provide participants with practical and effective knowledge on event management, the nature and spirituality of small Christian communities, and synod and synodal structures. In this training participants are coming from different parishes of the Chattogram Catholic Archdiocese.

The sessions were conducted by Mr. Manik Wilver D’Costa, National General Secretary of YMCA Bangladesh, and Mr. Micky Paul Gonsalves, Head of Programs and Development, Chattogram Catholic Archdiocese. The speakers elaborated on key topics such as planning and organizing events, time management, participatory leadership, and team responsibilities. Additionally, the structure of small Christian communities, Bible-based spiritual life, and fostering interpersonal relationships were thoroughly discussed.

During the sessions, participants actively engaged in practical exercises and group activities. Divided into small teams, they planned, implemented, and presented events, gaining hands-on experience. Mr. Gonsalves highlighted the importance of synods and synodal processes, emphasizing participatory leadership, listening, and collective decision-making.

According to the organizing committee, participants gained new perspectives on planning and management, were inspired to actively engage in small Christian communities, and developed a practical understanding of synodal leadership. They were also motivated to apply Bible-based approaches to address family and social issues in their communities.

The program concluded with key recommendations: to strengthen small Christian communities, conduct regular training in event management, and maintain ongoing synodal discussions.
