The Parish of the Immaculate Conception in Jamalkhan hosted the Youth Seminar 2024 this past weekend, June 18, 2024, bringing together 37 young participants for a day of spiritual growth and community bonding.
The event was inaugurated by Fr. Pankaj Pereira, who welcomed the attendees with an inspiring speech that set a positive tone for the day. “Our youth are the future of our faith community, and it is our responsibility to nurture their spiritual and personal growth,” Fr. Pereira emphasized in his opening remarks.
A highlight of the seminar was the Bible sharing session led by Mr. Manik Willver D Costa. His insightful interpretation of scripture captivated the audience and encouraged deep reflection among the participants. “Mr. D Costa’s sharing was both enlightening and relatable,” said one attendee. “It really helped me connect more deeply with my faith.”
The seminar also featured a vibrant cultural program, showcasing the talents and creativity of the young participants. From musical performances to dance routines, the cultural segment added a joyful and celebratory atmosphere to the event. “The cultural program was a fantastic way to see the diverse talents within our youth group,” noted another participant.
