Holy Childhood seminar and training of children animator is held in Roangchori sub-centre under Fatima Rani Catholic Church, Bandarban on 25-26 February 2016. The event was conducted by the national office of PMS in Bangladesh. Aims of the program was to inspire the children in the works of charity and mercy; skill development of children animators.
In the event, Parish Priest of Bandarban Parish Father Dominic Sarkar, CSC taught on “Holy Sacraments” and National PMS Director Father Dilip Costa and his assistants in office Sisters Rebecca, CIC; Gloria, SSMI discussed on “Children help children, team animating techniques of Holy Childhood Society”.
While addressing the participants Father Dominic said, “God loves children. Children of various countries do sacrifice to assist us financially. We should also do works of charity and mercy as much as possible for us.”
183 children and 17 animators participated in the program. At a sideline one of the children participants Master Shuvo Tanchangya (age 8) said, “I am feeling happy! I got this opportunity to celebrate the day, learn prayer and religious hymns, participate in games, receive prize with many children of my age.”
